Health Centre

The health care centre, managed by a team of doctors, supported by nurses and other medical personnel by satisfies the basic needs of the campus community. Expenditures related to emergency medical and hospital expenses will be borne by the parents / guardians of the pupils concerned. At the time of admission, an undertaking to this effect must be given by parents / guardians of students.
A health insurance system which is compulsory for all students at the University exists to provide health care and cover the costs-to the treatment of patients subject to a maximum of rupees. 15,000. All students must apply for medical insurance in the form prescribed by a date notified. The insurance costs R 260 / - per year is payable at time of admission in July for freshers and with the costs of the monsoon semester in the case of students in classes. Those who do not pay taxes and do not present a copy of the challan in the office of Dean, Students welfare will not be eligible for any type of medical assistance and their inclusion in the University will automatically be cancelled.
Note: A brochure on the medical insurance scheme students will be provided to students as well as letters to reveal their provisional selection for admission and waiting list applicants.

Physical Education

The University campus is the centre for games, sports, recreation, and for several programs competitive. There is a playground versatile on campus for cricket, football, volleyball, ball-badminton, tennis, basketball and athletics. Modern facilities for fitness are available inside New Gymnasium and facilities Table Tennis, Badminton shuttle, failures and Caroms. Both intramural and extra competitions are planned so that students are able to regularly participate in games and sports activities throughout the year.
The University is a member of the Inter-University Sports of India and its teams to participate in the area and all India inter-university tournaments regularly.

The University campus has a well-furnished Guest House in addition to the participants hostel (for participants of the academic staff college for retraining and orientation courses) and visits scholors Guest House.

Hostel Accommodation

There are a total of 10 hostels on the campus at the moment, seven of whom are men and the rest three are women. Three men hostels ( "A", "B" and "D") are traditionally aimed at those who are admitted to various courses of PG, while men from the hostel 'C', 'E', 'F 'And' G 'are intended to M. Phil students, academic research (Ph.D.), M. Tech, students and MBA students, respectively. Of the three hostels ladies, LH-LH I and III are intended for students, PG, and LH-II is Ph.D., M. and M. Phil Tech students.
The University can not provide accommodation at the hostel all students admitted to different classes due to the limited number of seats
Reservation of seats: Of the total number of seats in the home, 22.5% are reserved for candidates belonging to SC / ST and 3% for disabled students.
Procedure for application: Application forms for hostel admission can be obtained from the head office of prefect after the admissions process to a course is completed. The duly completed form in duplicate should be submitted as head of the office director. After considering applications regarding eligibility, efforts will be made to finalize the hostel admission on the same day. However, in case of any reason for delay in completion, applicants must make their own arrangements to stay until the admission is final. Request for provision of temporary accommodation will not be allowed.
Candidates must also be noted that those who have stayed in hostels of the university or any other University / College must attach a certificate of residence in the hostel with the form. The students of this university that after the completion of a course to join another course, was, until all contributions and apply again for hostel accommodation. Students are given readmission should similarly also clear all arrears and to apply again for the hostel accommodation.
Students enrolled for a second course PG (after completion of a course PG), as well as part-time students are not eligible for hostel accommodation.
The rules on maximum period of stay in the home: Maximum stay of a student at the University hostel for his studies at University as a whole should not exceed eight years from admission to PG course, subject following restrictions: 1. P.G past two years, 2. M.C.A - three years 3. Mr. Tech - two years 4. Dr. Phil - one year and 5. Doctorate - five years.

Students Welfare

The office of the dean of students responsible for the welfare of the welfare of students with active support from the elected representatives of students, faculty and administration. The student council by professional service is available in the University Health Centre. In the case of a student requiring parental guidance, his parents will be informed accordingly.
There is a Students' Union, which is aimed at students interests and promote cultural activities and sports. The elections to the Students' Union are conducted by students themselves.
The discipline among students:
All powers of discipline and disciplinary action in relation to students at the University shall be vested in the Vice-Chancellor. It May delegate any of its powers as it deems fit for one of the officers of the University provided by the latter.
Prohibition of hazing on campus:
Hazing, drug use, drug trafficking and eve teasing, which are criminal offences, are strictly prohibited in the University and persons found indulging in these activities will be subject to strict rules of discipline and " Other measures in conformity with the law of the country. S'adonner any criminal activity inside or outside the University and any form of physical violence against students and other residents will not be tolerated and stern disciplinary measures will attract rustication.
Committee on violence against women and sexual harassment: As suggested by the UGC, a committee was formed with Dean, Students Welfare, Executive Director, representative of the Centre for Studies of women, women members faculty, students, students' Union Teachers' Association as members
